Datatek is the National Distributor for UpFront Software, a fully integrated P.O.S system that meets all of your needs in one place. We utilize touchscreen technology for your cashiers and use a single integrated pin pad terminal to accept your customer's Credit, Debit, WIC, EBT SNAP, and GIFT cards. We offer complete Turn-Key and seamless installation services to get you up and running fast. We provide a complete system including all of the needed hardware and software necessary to streamline your operation.

We provide a MENU- based employee setup screen where you can turn on or off features for each individual employee as to what screens they can have access to, what reports they can run, security access to features such as allowing an item or transaction void, price override capability, etc.

We offer Flip Chart menus for your cashiers for things like Produce items including a picture of the item to make identification easy. You can also setup a menu for the heavier items such as cases of water and 50lb. bags of dog food so that they do not have to be lifted out of the cart to be scanned.

With our WIC software, there is no need for the cashier to separate the WIC items from the non-WIC items and scan them separately. The cashier scans ALL of the items at one time and our software will automatically separate them for you (including Produce WIC items). The cashier does not have to remember what is a WIC item and what isn't, saving processing time and missed payments. We automatically update the list of WIC items from the state every night so that your scans are always accurate.

For Countries such as the Bahamas that have eliminated the use of the penny for currency in cash transactions, we offer an option that will do that for your cashiers automatically as well as keep track of the adjustments for management.

For Countries utilizing the VAT tax, we can accommodate that as well. We can also provide the option of installing a price checker in your aisles that will show your customers your price as well as the price after the VAT tax is applied.

We have a fully integrated Frequent Shopper system that provides points for purchases that can be redeemed towards future purchases or prize rewards to keep your customers coming back.

We have a built in Accounts Receivable System to allow customers to charge purchases at the store, and we provide the capability for you to charge a finance fee if desired, as well as print or email statements.

We offer a full receiving system and an inventory control system to manage your shelves. You can see the inventory of items on hand as well as get a report of your Dead Stock items that aren't moving.
